My season opens this coming Saturday (Aug. 25th), but I will not participate until Sunday. I'm off to Florida this Friday for two nights of gator hunting.

I assume the gator hunt is with your bow, but what do you mean about the mountains? My US geography is pretty poor, but aren't the wet areas in the lowlands? I'm gonna hop over and check out Florida on Google Earth.
