Nice fish. I'm scheduled to go down there the weekend after Labor Day and fish. We have been going the same weekend for about 5 years now. Usually right around then is when the red school up to make their run to the gulf. If you catch the right day or spot you can fill your limit in less than a hour. We've had 4 reds on at once several times and it is fun trying to get around everybody. We normally use light spinning reels and fish the flats for them.
