the search optioncame up withthe same results it always does for me no matter what I do a search for... "no record found", so I dont know if its been discussed before, but does anyone get into it?
I was always under the impression that it was kind of a "girly" thing to do with your time but we(me and my wife and kids)went out last fall and found a couple and it was pretty cool, the kids lovedit...
most of them around here are in the woods based on some sort of scenic viewwith alot of them being at the top of some mountain or mound which is usually at the end of a fairly long hike, and most are through some pretty good hunting spots...
I dont have a GPS but knew exactly where a few of themwere just by the discription, and being late fallI packedmy .22 pistol and we did a little squirrel hunting while we were at it, it was actually a pretty cool outing, IMO its a good chance to do some small game hunting or scouting while doing something adventurous with the family, and like I said the kids loved searching aroundand finding those cache boxes, in fact they've been bugging me quite a bit about going and finding some more but I'm trying to put it off until small game season opens
I've also got a GPS unit on the list now, so theres another $250 bucks, but I think once those kids get to track a target with that GPS I'll probably never get them out of the woods, or get my GPS back... so its an item thatsgoing to have to come fairly quick, but I've been wanting one for a while anyway...
its funny, the closer it gets to small game season the more I'm actually looking forward to going and doing it again...
