Default RE: Greg, got my round tuit

The loop was already as short as I could get it and still use it effectively.

Meaning, that when I use my Carter,it has to be long enough so that I can twist it.If it is too short,it will torque the string. That would be pretty extreme as far as short goes.I tried shorter loop first but couldn't get where I wanted to be.You can see in the long video how close the release is to the nock.

The loop isn't that much longer but a combination of the loop and anchor gave me the sweet spot. You can alsotell that the anchor change is so slight that you can't see it but I did have to move my peep.

I wanted to do the same with the longerdraw but it wasn't to be.Plus, the anchor change wasn't comfortable. Also, string angle is part of it.

This may be the single most important thing that professional shooters have over the average guy. They are able to tweak a draw or a setup to the EXACT specifications that THEY like.(not that I am a pro,not really even close) but I have been around THAT game and know a few of the tricks.

That is what all the weight stabilizers are about. One guy will have a full set of v bars and the next guy will have an offset bar.It is what makes a setup work for them.I have a heavy weight on the end of my short stabilizer,it acts like it is a bit longer.

I remember seeing your pic where your draw looks fine but you don't have the2 string anchors that most of us strive for.A little anchorchange mightgive you those extra reference points.I am not suggesting you change, especially if it works FOR YOU(that is what is important) but it might be something to try,WHEN YOU GET BACK FROM YOUR TRIP.I'm so jealous.[&:]

It is pretty obvious that my front shoulder came down in the 2 videos. My back elbow even straightened out some.I wish I could get comfortable shooting with the back elbow straight back but I can't,especially with this short bow.

PLUS,in the real world, the power stroke advantage isn't even noticable with speed or ke.You don't even know it is there without a chrono.

The only thing a chrono is good for is when it is used in conjunction with a ballistics program to help get the properly spined arrow and to help set up sight tapes or pin gap.
