I have a Ruger Super Blackhawk 7.5"bbl in .44 mag and love it for everything. I've used mine a bit on yotes in the evenings when I can get them in rather close. I can reach out to around 125yrds well enough but I just don't care to much. I'd say you'd probably like to use .44 spcl loads as long as you're gonna keep your shots short and your going to take the time to figure out where your bullets are going. I don't usually EVER use .44 spcl loads for anything, but that's because I have a large amount of .44 mag CAS loads (.44mag loads under 1000fps mv), and they do very well for me on small game and such.

Screw the 10 ring, keep them in the zero!!!
