RE: How do you keep you close as scent free as possible?
Well I run the washer and dryer with nothing in them to clean out all scents as much as possible. Hunting cloths are washed in scent free detergent and sealed away, only opened away from car once I am at spot. I don't even hunt in the cloths I drive to my spot in. Base layers then scent lok. Obviously scent free soap and shampoo, dry off with a scent free towel and apply hair and body deodorant. A few weeks before hunting season I stop wearing cologne or scented deodorant, and remain this way throughout the season. You would be surprised on how long it takes to get the Smell of Old Spice out of your pits. Gear, including stand, clothsis sprayed and wiped down before each hunt. This may seem to be over doing it to some people but I am anal about being scent free, and truth be told, I see more deer then most of the other people I know who hunt.
