Going from 4" vanes to short blazers, what does it get you ?, only a few things, here a few I can say:
Maybe a few FPS faster, the chance to say I USE BLAZERS,I saved money,posting a question on how to make them stick(which there are ways),but are they more accurate?, doubt it. JUST MY OPINION.
I think you would be more accurate with 4" at short range, would stabilize the arrow quicker.
I also see no reason to stop someone from using them if they want in the hunter class or from using fat shafts. I shot in the IBO World at Anderson & seen quite a bit of guys using 4" spinwing vanes, do they have a advantage ?, YES, if they practice all year, do there homework & are great archers they can win, thats where its at no mater what arrows or vanes you are using.
I perfer 4" FFP hunter vanemyself, tuff & will take a pounding all year, but expensive.
