RE: short bows, curves/lb
I love my 66" Crusader, even though my 64" is a tiny bit smoother (2.5# per inch vs 2# per inch), and seems to be just as fast even though it is 5# lighter in draw weight.
Beprepn, the bow is only as accurate as the shooter. In general, shorter bows are less forgiving of shooter mistakes and require a little more fine tuning. Short bows don't always stack either--one that I am familiar with is the Chek-Mate Firebird, a 56" take-down recurve, that will handle a 30" draw. You do get more finger pinch though.
