I agree with Mr. Sorenson, as long as the bow is smooth and stable at your draw length it probably does not make to much difference. Personally I hunt and shoot tournaments with a 66 and a 69 inch Sky longbow. I have never hunted from a tree (not comfortable in them)and have had good success from the ground. Accuracy wise I firmly believe the longer bow will be easier to shoot well but being a old FITA target shooter who has never really given a well designed short bow a chance I can not say that is a fact.
