My biggest bass to date was a 26 inch smallmouth which was close to 6 pounds caught a couple of years ago. Here any smallmouth over 5 pounds is concidered a trophy fish. For as far as largemouths they are new for us up in this part of the state. I am led to believe that 5 and 6 pounders are quite common with some reaching as much as 10 pounds. I have never caught anything like them for as far as largemouths go.
