Default RE: what's your camo pattern?

I do most of my hunting in the N. Sacramento valley and if I hunt on the east side of the valley you cant beat Realtree's HD Hardwoods pattern because it blends in perfect with the whiteoak and surplus of lava rock from Mt Lassen! On the west side its either Realtree HD Hardwoods Green or Advantage Timber because of the makeup of the foilage.Good camo is that, that matches or blends in with the country you hunt in and with the 3D patterns our manufacturers keep coming out with we have a great opportunity to become part of the forest we hunt in as long as we learn to sit still.A true test of your camo pattern comes when ole longbeard is within our limits to pull the trigger and we have to make those slight adjustments to get on him.Good camoflauge and knowing when to move can give you a little freedom to move undetected making it priceless in alot of cases, but it is truly amazing how an ole tom turkey can recognize something out of the ordinary and pick up movement!

Monarch isn't a butterfly it's the King of the Spring!
