You can psych yourself out so fast if you think too much..I have found that with many things. If I am at work and start worrying about doing something wrong..it happens. If I just go with the flow and take my time and not get in a rush, everything goes as planned.. When I am working out at the gym and am doind heavy sets...I can hit a wall as soon as I start thinking about the actually weight I am trying to put up..even though I did the same weight the week before. So many things are just a mental game. Same goes for bowhunting/target practice. Just gotta take your time and not get worked up
