Default RE: ??Red Dot..or..Crosshairs???question??

Since you already have the scopes covered and I use both...
I will comment on the Red Dot.

I have a couple different turkey guns with HOLOsights on them. To me, this is "the" turkey sight. Unlike a scope, it has no magnification and offers unlimited field of view and instant target acquisition. You also get none of the weird paralax and eye relief problems that some scopes can have. To me, that is what shotgun hunting is all about. (Shouldering your gun and being able to shoot instantly.)

So, why not just stick with beads or fiber optic sights if a typical red dot has no magnification you ask? Well, a red dot is simply placed on the target. No matter where it is located inside the scope, if you place it on the target the target will be hit. It is a lot faster and easier to use than a double-bead system or the Tru-Glo type fiber optic sights which must be aligned.

Hope that helps you with your search.

P.S. I know the HOLOsight is also good for waterfowling and upland bird hunting/shooting as well in case you use your turkey gun for other things.
