Awshucks, Horton's info is out of date and the link doesn't work. Deer hunters here in Indiana can use a crossbow only during our late archery season, but according to the current hunting guide may take a deer of either sex. Here's the correct link:

You can take all other legal game with one during their appropriate season(s). Varmints may be taken with a crossbow at any time.
thanks for your info! i don't have anyway to change the data listed, but even though the rules seem to change alot, maybe I can bookmark this page and have more accurate data w/ all you guys input.
