I am looking for information on making a food plot on my land. I have 75 more or less acres. It is mostly woods with some feilds that are actually overgrown strip mine areas. I do not have access to farming equipment, but do have an ATV that I would be willing to buy implements for.

Should I clear an area in the woods and plant there? Should I try to get stuff to grow on the old strip fields?What types of grasses (or whatever else) should I look at planting? How big do I need to make it so it will attract and nourish the deer till season comes around?

I realize I am asking a lot of questions, but I honestly have no idea.
