Jamboree to benefit hunger program
The northeast Indiana chapter of Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry has scheduled its 2007 jamboree for Sept. 9 at the Izaak Walton League, 17100 Griffin Road.
The event begins with an archery shoot at 7:30 a.m. and features a barbecue lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Proceeds pay for processing of donated deer meat that is distributed to through Community Harvest Food Bank.
