Cossack: Chrony results w/ a caveat. I'm shooting 431 gr vs 357 gr stock, which I never chronied. I've read alot of places you lose 1 fps for every 5 gr weight increase. 431-357=84 gr/5= 16-17 fps. W/ FFF string and 431's I get 285-290 fps from my Phoenix and 328 fps from Emax.A few fps over the advertised 305 for Phoenix and about the same under for the Emax. It appears to be a bow by bow thing as the Excal guys seem to range pretty close to advertised specs w/ stock arrows.I also am using the "high" mark for a brace height, knowing the lower gives the highest fps. No offense meant, I just don't believe 20 fps low is an accurate evaluation of Excals advertised speeds.
