I just want to mirror Jeff's comments about the Trapdoor. I, too, read all of the negative comments on the various forums about the durability of the rest. Despite that fact I picked one up about two months ago and have had it installed on both the Razortec and Patriot without a single major concern...other than the fact that the prongs chipped two small flecks of paint off the riser of the Patriot...

It is entirely possible that a) the original models had some design flaws which have now been worked out or b) two months of shooting just isn't enough time for any potential flaws to manifest themselves. Regardless, my opinion of the rest is "so far, so good". Its compact design, ease of installation/use and current reliability make this an excellent choice in my opinion.
