3Dmo,

Thanx. I think you'll be real happy with your new toy!

Rangeball,

Thank you, mayeb we ought to boycott all those squishy washer users?! <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Ij,

Thank you. I was working with a fellow at the shop who had a NAP2000 on his SuperTec about 10 days ago..he was having the same problems..(in reality this seems to be a problem period with the NAP fallaways).

First off: he had got rid of the NAP wire and installed a normal cord. Then I traded out the NAP slide for one of the new Bowtech ones which has a hookup for the cable on the back side of the slider and ran the cord around the back. That helped some. We still realized that it just wasn't falling fast enough to get out of the way off the prongs and so I suggested we take the launcher they use off, and took the standard dual prongs from a NAP1000 and put those on..it was much better, but till getting some contact...it was from that rubber doo-hickey arrow holder thing NAP ships with each rest...IMO they are more trouble than they are worth. That almost annhilated any clearance issues but he still had some minor contact unless he shot cock vane down...After fooling with that rest for about an hour and a half or so so I realized I would never want one of those things...too much hassle, and god forbid something happened while you were hutning with it. If I did want a cable style, the shop has had real good luck with the Cavalier Avalanche and TT rest..I would look at those if you still want that style.

But the Trapdoor is much simpler..I've heard all the complaints on various forums (noise...short life of product) but I have not found that to be the case. Owned mine since Spring and have put it on several different bows..and put alot of arrows through it...no noisier than any non-fallaway I've tried (and quieter than most), and it drops perfect everytime.
