I love the size, weight and feel of the Nikon 440. My only thing in looking through it is
I wish it came in a lower magnification. 8x is on the high end. Most of the Bushnells are 5-7X.
Maybe it is just my personal taste, but is there a reason they use 8x or I should?
I thought the same about the 440 and found out that Nikon makes the 500G which is the golf model. I believe it has the same exact specs as the nikon 600 (6x) monocular and same ranging distance- 500G means meters not yards. I paid 150.00 new off ebay. only drawback is its brushed silver so for hunting you are going to have to place camo tape over the covers.
