RE: West Texas Rio Grande Turkey Hunt for ???
I am certainly looking for a Rio hunt... I actually posted awhile ago looking for a Rio hunt in return for a Eastern hunt... I have hunted merriums the last 2 years in SD with good success... It is the black hills public land but would be willing to give you the place were we stay and you can sure come out with us next spring and stay with us and hunt our area... This spring we found a spot ina 3 mile stretch we had 15-20 dfferent birds going every morning... Their is 4 of us that go everyspring and will be going back out..2 of us want Riosin the worst way...If you wanted you could come to wisconsin and hunt Easterns with me on thousands of acres of private land and it would be a lock.. I have killed at least one tom every year in WI for the last 7 years and now we can buy tags over the counter for the last 3 seasons.. Let me know what you think...
