Default RE: New Bowhunter Need Help!

Hi newbie!!

welcome to the dark side of life !!!

you have good questions, first ask around your area with other bowhunters on who they feel is the best bow shop, then go in and explain to them that you have never shot a bow then hang on!!!!!!!

no i'm kidding !! If this guy is good he will measure you first to get your draw lenght this is paramount!!!

next i would tell you don't invest $ 1600 into something you don't know if you will like it or not...... if it were me and where i work i would ask you your buget then we start from there i might talk you into something used first since your not sure about the sport,,, if you get into it then thats the time to upgrade maybe someones used outback ,or switchback or older bow model just to get you into the sport with out breaking the pocketbook if you don't like used then a new lower end bow like bear code ,instinct, truth, or parker bow mathews new line mission bows all around the 399 price range then with accessories whisker bis, arrows and release your out of there 600-700 dollarsor less depending on what you buy but thats me but i would get you to shoot a lot of bows first and then decide on what feels good to you this way you also get a lesson on how to shoot while your shooting...hmmmmm and as for hunting in nov. that is an ethical question only you can answer if you practice till then sorry for long winded answer hope this helped!! good luck you can alway pm me for specific questions!!!
