Go to a proshop an do a lot of listening an try to choose a bow setup that is not real pricey since you are just starting out. Shoot a few an see which one feels good to you, main thing is get your draw length right. If you like bow hunting in a few years you can sell the one you have a buy a new one.
With a lot of practice an you get a bow that you like an is setup for you you should be ready in 3 months to give it a try.
