Default RE: Modifying cocking rope/strap

the best way i found to avoid all that is to buy the old style Horton rope cocker, it has the aluminum plate that hooks the string and it does not damage the serving!

just saw one on ebay a day or so ago for like $25.00, i have one already but if i had the extra cash right now that baby wouldhave beenmine.

i also like it becuase you dont have to mark the string, it has 2 lil lines on the cocking plate that lines up perfectly with the arrow track in the rail and allows it to shoot exactly the same every time

if anyone is interested in getting one'shoot me a PMso i know to get in touch with youif i see another one on ebay.
