No problem with the pics. Further descriptions with telling us about all writing or markings on it will probably reveal the identity of the weapon.
By the way, where in the UP will you be trying to knock down the big buck with cedar bark embedded in his brow tines?
I know a little bit of some of the UP areas. Used to hunt north of Newberry with my granddad in the 60's and 70's .... near Culhane and Bodi Lakes off County Roads 410 in Luce County, basicallly straight north of that skirting the Lake Superior shoreline... hinting wasn't that good back then in that area, don't know about now. .. and also hunted over by the Hulbert Swamp around the same time.
I now hunt Just south of the bridge in Wilderness State Park 7 miles west of Mackinaw ......
I can really appreciate getting a 50 yard shot in a cedar swamp. That is sometimes a long shot!
