Default A little surgery on my Martin

In December I was finishing up on my managed hunt that I was drawn for here in Missouri. As I was putting my bow (OLD Martin Jaguar) up until the following weekend, I noticed some small fibers sticking out of one of the limbs (eventually found out that it was called limb splinters). I didn’t think that this was a good thing and called Martin customer service to see about getting them replaced. They said without a receipt and knowing how old the bow was that the best warranty they could offer on the limbs was 50% off. I thought that was extremely reasonable, since I had bought the bow used and have no idea how old it was. I took it in to a local dealer in St. Louis called Midwest Archery Outfitters and they set me up pretty quick. Less than 2 weeks got my bow back and was ready to go. They didn’t try and push me into buying anything extra which I found refreshing, they reused my limb savers, and did some maintenance on my cables. I was just happy that I didn’t have to look into getting a new bow and was able to keep old faith-full. If you are in the area give them a try. Now there will be no excuse next year!!!
