You might try to use a wrench to help give you some leverage while screwing them in.
Someone should fabricate a drill bit to screw them in, or the step makers could add a socket head on them?
they have those drill bits at walmart for like 5 or 10 bucks. right beside the box of steps.
of course, i was the idiot thinkin i didnt need one.
