I hunt in an area where your not aloud to bait, but i saw a show where a guy used fake apples in a non batting place.. he put apple sent on them, and it seemed to make the deer that were passing by, come and smell them, and stop fora few minz to investigate...
anyone have any luck with this?
We are not allowed to bait during season in Minnesota either. Withthat said, always bring a few apples on stand with me for a snack, but never seem quite able to eat more than half an apple before getting full and tossing it.
Really strange that this seems to happen more than once per time I am on stand.
