I tried several different vanes and ended up liking Bohning's the best a couple of years ago. I switched to feathers back then and really,really liked them & have been shooting them since. I started shooting my best groups ever with feathers,picked up 5 fps , found paper tuning easier(I think they stabilize an arrow faster),and feathers are forgiving with clearance problems .Feathers are not good if it rains , there are spray products that help with that,but personally I always have 1 arrow with vanes with me if I think it might rain.
