Obviuosly you no experience with Crimson Talon XT's. The blade is in the ferrule all the way to the bottom of the blade unlike the old model. I have put the XT's into a target over 50 times and they have not changed shape in the least. This is a very good, solid blade design now. I think it speaks highly of the spintite folks to recognize a flaw in their design and redesign a tip that works better.
