Most WIHA land doesn't open until the 1st of Nov. And in my opinion Oct 6th-12th is probably the hardest time to to bowhunt deer, as they are very unpredicatble, and it's usually still pretty warm so the movement is minimal and bugs could be thick. $750 for a tag without any land access, isn't cheap either!
