I've never hunted ducks in NYC, but in Colorado, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas, one of my best duck decoys is a handful of Canada geese! I put ducks on the left and ducks on the right and a handful of bigfoot canadian floaters in my landing zone. Then I put some Luckyducks that look like they are coming into my landing zone. I also do not hesitate to use my goose call to get their attention. You won't read this in any of your "How To Kill Ducks" books, but it is very very effective!
