Here in NC our ML season is for 1 week only. In years past you could only hunt with a ML during this week. This year we are able to bowhunt during ML season on PRIVATE land only. Just curious as to how other states are during ML season. I don't hunt with a ML so I'm happy for the extra week
NC also has passed a "urban" bow season that comes in the first Sat. after gun season goes out (gun season always ends on Jan.1) and lasts for 1 month. This season is for hunting WITHIN the CITY LIMITS ONLY. The last time I checked, no cities had signed up for this. I'm kind of excited cause it will give me an extra month with very FEW people. Just don't know how well it will go over. I can hear it now...people calling the papers etc. complaining about a deer falling over in their yard with an arrow stuck in it. Oh well...can't please everyone.
