Default RE: broadhead tuning?

ORIGINAL: bassman417

ive been looking on here but apparently not hard enough. can someone explain to me how to tune broadheads.
almost any point will need TUNED..
we used little rubber flat o-rings 40 years ago until recently...

the best way is to take arrows to archery shop and have them true up your inserts...
then go home and put your points on without the o-ring...
then hold arrow on its point, spin it on flat surface, i use table at home..
spin it like top...
you should see no wobble in point..

if you do, heat you insert with candle with point in it, use pliers and move it around the shaft just a hair, spin it, reheat it and do it again..it WILL stop wobbling..

out of 6 arrows i had trued, only 1 i needed to heat and turn insert...
