Just a little info for the"it ain't that hot" folks.
A 1995 study from the Journal of the Louisiana Medical Society measured the change in temperature that occured in the interior of a parked car, with its windows cracked, on an 85 degree day.The results were as follows, within 15 minutes the temperature had climbed to 113 degrees. After an hour it reached160 degrees. It will be worse on hotter days.
Leave your kids, pets or laminated archery products in there and expect serious repercussions. Glues usually start to soften and then separatearound 150 degrees.

Good reply.Strings will stretch beyond recognition if left too long.
I had a set of QUALITY strings and cables put on my nephews bow for him and I saw him at a 3-d shoot and his peep was completely backwards and I was cofused because I use the same strings and cables and NEVER had any of them move on any of my bows. Then I thought,he must have left it in his car.I asked him and sure enough, that is exactly what he did.
