RE: need opinions: new SW9 or used glock
Colorado Luckydog and I shoot together fairly often and he does love his S&W. I personally am a Glock fan. I am retired LEO and carried my Glock through some major **** storms. The grips are totally different between a Glock and a S&W. The Glock fits my hand much better then the S&W ever did. I can close my eyes grip my Glock and bring it up with my eyes closed, open my eyes and I am on target. That is extremely important for using a gun in a self defense or instinctive shooting mode.
That must be a state law where you are at when it comes to associating a certain gun with the paperwork. In Colorado you get approved for either a Long Gun or a Handgun or both. So it isn't a big deal to change from one pistol to another before the purchase is made.
