well fellas, it doesnt really matter now, lol, b/c i jus called the shop and they saaid that since the paperwork is already going thru, that the specific gun i chose (the sw9) is already associated with that paperwork, so i cant switch to another pistol. this sort of sucks. i actually wish i would have done a little more research before buying it, but i guess thats life - life and learn. i jus dont understand why i cant be switched, i doubt that the actual gun has anything to do with the background check, i would think the background check is just a procedure before buying the handgun to see if you qualify for any gun in general, not just for a specific gun. but whatever. i may call back and ask someone else, but im not that if one person said it, its set in stone.

since this happened, i have another question, like adaman04 said, if its the pre-VE series, they suck. if the gun is brand new, could it be the a pre-VE series? it jus said on the tag (SW9), but do they still make the oldversion brand new? or if its a brand new gun does that mean its the VE version? thanks alot
