I assume you mean the Sigma series. Like a SW9VE? I have one of those as well as a Glock 19. The Sigma is a good introductory gun, I got mine as a gift at like 15 or something, then got in to Glocks soon there after. I won't be going back to S&W. The new M&P is getting good reviews but Glocks are the definition of perfection IMHO.

The pre-"VE" Sigmas were terrible. If you don't mind spending the extra money I say go for the Glock. This is coming from someone who owns both not a snob of either side.

Glock will treat you right whether the gun is new or used. If you EVER have any trouble with it, they will make it right in a hurry. That I assure you.
