I went to Gander Mountain yesterday to buy some Easton A/C/C's. They didn't have the size I needed so I asked the guy if they had any more in the back or anything. He proceded to tell me that A/C/C's are a competition target arrow and they are a hunting store and so they don't stock them.
TECHNICALLY, the guy is right. ACC stands for Aluminum Carbon Competition. It's the survivor of the two original arrows of the type, ACC and ACH - Aluminum Carbon Hunting. ACH's were killed off because they were heavier and the speed junkies ignored them. Not his fault people use target arrows for hunting these days.
