Hi 4feathers I have a 56" T/D . It is a very nice bow smooth as butter out to 28 which is my draw and is quick and stable.I also have the 56" firebird a 58" hunter II a falcon and a falcon special.When I head out to shoot I always find myself grabbing the 56" hunter. It is not as deflexed as a hunter II and I have never seen a hunter I riser in person so can't say about that. Try before you buy is the best policy but if that isn't possible i would give that bow a BIG thumbs up. Good Luck
