Default RE: Semi-Live from KY

We totally got spanked at the world's tourney. We hit Barkley without scouting and it was a bad choice. Our bad. All the fish seemed to be over in Kentucky Lake. We spent an hour to get to the hole we thought would be full of fish just to find it muddy and too shallow to navigate with the troller. We spent more timeto chug over to the hole where we got the big fish during the Kentucky Carp-o-ree only to find it dried up and mostly fish-less.
The generator nearly got tossed off the boat since it wouldn't run right. We could only run the front lights so any fish we passed along the side of the boat was safe. Of course a certain member of our team was having some issues hitting the few fish we saw. At no time did I think of taking his bow away and giving it to Circe (our dog). At2am we decided toadmit defeat and go back to the ramp and get some much needed sleep. We traveled a total of 31 miles in the pontoon boat (a new record for distance in a night) andendedwith a whopping 4 fish in the barrel. [:-][&o]

A testament to the great job that Mike Whelan and the BAA officials did is that we had a great time anyhow and look forward to the next World's Tournament.

We may just have to get a fan boat between now and then.
