Default RE: elephant hunting

We just had a light covering of fresh snow here in WI today. Im going out to look for Bull Elephant tracks.
I will also check those baits and may take Big Country suggestion and try to score one of those mice or is it mices or mecis.

They had a show on The Outdoor Channal the other day where a young woman was hunting Waterbuffalo in Africa with a guide of course. They stalk up on one, she makes the shot and the Waterbuffalo runs off. Looks like a good hit to me.
As they follow the trial a Waterbuffalo stands up infront of them and the guide shots it thinking he just finished off the kill for the gal. They were never in danger of this old bull charging or anything.

Well this is a much older bull with a poor set of horns and as the guide explains why he finished it off for her a beater from the group walks a little further and finds a dead Bull, the one the gal had shot a few yards up.
A buddy has been trying to talk me into going to Africa for a hunt. Actually the prices are very reasonable. I just can't see myself being lead around by the hand or on my butt in a landrover shooting animals who don't appear to be concerned with hunters. Some are but it just doesn't seen like hunting to me. Whether it Elephants or Worthogs makes no difference. This peice of video convinced ne for sure.

IT'S ABOUT GETTING RESULTS, NOT JUST ABOUT MAKING AN EFFORT.
Work hard and be true to yourself.
