6ptsika maybe I shouldn't have been so lazy when I was typing that reply, I have no problem with using a guide, but I would not want one that was right over my shoulder or holding my hand, I don't think most hunters do. I also am not saying that an elephant hunter would want the guide right over thier shoulder either, but correct me if I am wrong, but is not the guide right behind every elephant hunter with a VERY serious back up gun. What would bug me, besides the fact that I have no interest in killing an elephant, would be in order to be successful with an elephant hunt, by successful I mean not only the kill, but all the transportation, the people needed to butcher the kill and transport all of the people needed to do the above. To me 20 people to kill one animal is a bit much! For me.
