NO, I rally have to disagree with the Manhood statment. I think that makes us a Little Smarter. See, not all of us can afford several rifles, for all the differnt things out there. So you see, in my case, my hunting Rifle is also my tactical Rifle. I chose something that I can hunt ANYTHING, ANYWHERE IN NORTH AMERICA. I happened to chose a big gun that will allow me to do this. The company does not ship this rifle without a brake. Now, with a brake, i can practice with this gun all day, and be more proficient with it that you will be with something smaller, and because I am more proficient with it I can more reliably place my shot where I want it, killing my game more easily. I don't have to worry that oops, i missed a bit because I flinched with a smaller round, and wounded my game. No, I shoot a bigger round, that recoils less, delivers more lbs of energy even at long range then alot of guns deliver at really short range, and put it exactly where I want it. Do you have the confidence to hunt anything anywhere in North America with just one gun? I know I do.
If this was a manhood issue, there are bigger guns out there, that are a whole lot less practical. But that's another story.

And to choose something smaller, just because it has less recoil and doesn't need a brake, that sounds like a Manhood issue. A real mancan admit it when using thataccessory makes it easier to be more proficient, and then does it. So what is smarter, using something that might get the job done without the brake, or something that WILL get the job done with the brake.

Now that you have got me going....
So according to you, nobody should use anything except just the rifle. No additional things to make you better. So, you are saying that when you go to the range, you shoot just iron sites, that you don't use a bench there, you don't shoot from a prone position, maybe supported by a sand bag or backpack. You just walk out there, stand there, out your gun to your shoulder and shoot. I say BS. By your way of thinking, taking even something as easy shooting as say a .270 or .223, and supporting it say on the side of a tree, or over a branch is unmanly. making sure that there is the best possibility of placing that hopefully one humane killing shot where it has to go, is unmanly, then you my friend, need to hang up your REAL MAN TOYS, turn in your hunting license, and go back to chsing squirrels with a BB Gun. You cannot consistantly shoot every peice of game just where you want, from a standing unsupported position. and If you do, ...see above comments. Even you need some of the "extras and Bells and Whistles" to shoot well.
