I agree with you , the Big Magnumsa are Superior. Some of them are just not fun to shoot. hard to get good shooting something that you don't enjoy shooting. You can't get real good, to make that perfect shot placement if you don't practice, and are comfortable whith the rifle. I got a chance a few years back to shoot something huge. I am told it was adequate for Elephant if that is your thing. Ammo, about $5 each time you shoot it. That this about knocked me over backward from a standing position. Great, I hit what I as aiming at....THAT TIME. But I can guaruntee, I would be flinching if I had to shoot it again. That, makes good shot placement hard. Not impossible. TRY a muzzle break, make it comfortable, and you will get better than you are now. I garuntee, that I can put bullet where I want with my .338 Lapua Magbacause of the break on it. It allows me to get good shooting it, without the flinch.
