I just bought that rifle. I havent had time yet to go fire her.I got the 243. It was the 10gxp3. I like the feel of it. I not real crazy about the Simmons scope and I will upgrade later. Cant beat the price tag on it however. As soon as I get it to the range Ill tell u how it shoots. I hope someone else will speak up on this model of Savage,how it shoots,ejects,and how there scope has held up???
