It may not be as safe, but I do wear a belt.
But I hate being tied to the tree behind my neck!! You cant turn around backwards and shoot a bow w/o the strap being in the way.
Would you rather be tied to a ventilator and unable to turn around at all?
This cost me a deer once!!!!
Who cares???.............really........why risk your life over a stupid deer?? There are millions of them out there and you have years to chase them.
I also put the belt so the leash is snug when im sitting so if i were to fall I wont go anywhere.
The tighter that belt is the faster it will constrict your diaphragm and the sooner you will stop breathing.
Get a harness.
