Your dad is a greatman and a very wise man. He knows the dangers of hunting from elevated stands as more than 90% of us on this site do as well. Most harnesses are designed for comfort and mobilitywith the hunter in mind. Most are a very smooth fabric and are very quiet.

This is my first year bowhunting by myself and my Dad won't let me hunt without one. Would also like to see what you guys think is best. Do they make it hard to get the shot off. How about added noise? I'm not saying I'm not going to use one, just that I want a good working one. I know a guy that fell and didn't get hurt from the fall. But he did have an arrow go into his inner thigh. He unscrewed the arrow and went to the ER to have the broadhead removed. That would have hurt like all get out.
