If the riser is not cut-out your only option for a rest is one with a cushion plungerI believe.

You might need a new string on the bow and a good peep sight. A Fletcher trupeep is pretty cheap and works very well. I recommend either the 3/16" or 1/4" for hunting.

There are a lot of great sights out there. That becomes more of a preference for what you get. I'd recommend one with a gang adjustment for the vertical and horizontal adjustment though. Moving individual pins left to right is a pain.

Stabilizer wise a simple doinker will work. The limbsaver modular stabilizers are good too.
