I was walkin out to put a new trailcam on a tree on the farm. I stopped while I was walking up the mountain to catch my breath. I heard footsteps around the hill and I turned around to see what it was. When I turned around I saw a yote walkin through the brush about 15 yards below me. I always carry a sidearm on me because I am a police officer, and this day was no different. Me and the yote saw each other at about the same timethough and I tried to draw my Springfield XD .45 but by the time it was out of my holster he was high tailing it the other way. I fired one round at him but hit right below him. I would have like to have killed that guy but hopefully he'll think twice before he tries to come back on the farm haha
